The International Clown Festival of Fuerteventura TRAN TRAN was born in 2009 thanks to the involvement and participation of neighbors, municipal workers, companies, associations, groups and artists. Together with the support of the City Council of Tuineje and the Cabildo de Fuerteventura filled the town of Gran Tarajal with laughter, shows and culture.
As a result of the success, born the Clown Association of Hospital de Fuerteventura HOSPITRAN () was born, which brings laughter to the island's hospital twice a week.
In the eight editions held, there have been more than 150,000 people who have gone through the festival, more than 160 companies and artists and more than 120 companies and institutions that have collaborated with the festival
• Offer an annual event that meets the expectations of leisure, culture and fun, both children and adults, all around the world clown.
• Promote the island of Fuerteventura by carrying out cultural and festive activities on avenues and beaches in the month of September, when in some areas of Europe these outdoor activities cannot be carried out due to its weather conditions.
• Support the revitalization of the education sector, through the involvement of children's and primary schools on the island of Fuerteventura in the dissemination of the festival, in the delivery of courses with clown dynamics, aimed at teachers and students, and performances in the centers.
